The Club

Chicago Reds Subbuteo Club is an elite, private sports team based in the western suburbs of Chicago. We promote the sport of Subbuteo table soccer which is also know around the world as “Subbuteo” or “table football”. We are looking for players of exceptional character who want to join our team or for beginners who want to learn about this beautiful global game.

HISTORY: Subbuteo table soccer was first introduced in the Chicago area in the late 1970s when individuals bought the game from England. The very first club in the Chicago area was founded in 1981 and was called the “Roselle Rowdies 1981 Subbuteo Club”. The Rowdies were active until 1985 but that year the club was dissolved. For the next 28 years, the Chicago area did not have an organized club but that ended on January 1, 2014 when the Chicago Area Subbuteo Club was founded. On July 7, 2014 a second club was founded, the Hercules Subbuteo Club and later was renamed as Midwest United Subbuteo Club. On December 14, 2014 the two clubs merged and formed the Chicago United Table Soccer Club. On July 28, 2019 the club changed names and became the Chicago Reds Subbuteo Club.
